These GICHA silk cushion covers are made by a set of artisans involved in making handspun Gicha yarn and weaving soft , light and bulky Gicha silk yarn into thick Gicha fabric. GICHA till date is handspun by few villagers closer to Bhagalpur , Bihar. They use ruptured cocoons and hand spin its loosely held fibres into yarns after they are removed from silk cocoon.
