Iraketu comprises of cane craft indigenous craft of North Western region of India. The craftsmen and work have taken a hit during the unprecedent times of Covid-19. The cane lamp follows a simple yet elegant form for lighting an interior space.
The dowel shaped cane form has a wooden oil diffuser at the top, utilizing the character of wood of absorbing oil. It locks the essential oil and slowly spreads the fragrance. The top groove design makes it easier to store and absorb essential oils, making the fragrance last for a longer period of time. Lighting and smell contribute to human mood and behaviour and can induce relaxation, reduce anxiety. This product is designed to add value and softer functionality to the crafts.
