‘Shunya’ was established on 15th August 2004 & located in a rural area near Mecheda Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, India. ‘Shunya’ is basically an organization dealing (manufacturing, marketing & selling) with handicraft products (Batik & Kantha stitch) in its own workshop. There are two powers in the world, one is the sword & the other is the pen. There is a third power stronger than both, that of women power & SHUNYA is full of women power. It started in 2004. Time is running out & SHUNYA has upgraded their batik designs to another level. Unique concepts, appropriate color combinations, creative eyes make the designs different & exclusive. ‘Shunya’ has changed & improvised the style of work overtime that is why they have been manufacturing extraordinaire creations. Today ‘Shunya’ makes an impression in the fashion world & becomes the No-1 Batik design development organization in India. The organization has set up its own identity through a new genre of batik design. Craft lovers identify Shunya’s designs comprehensively as the designs are so identical & well known.
