Avinash Karn is a Madhubani/Mithila artist working with his own developed individual style emerged as a contemporary style of Madhubani art especially expressing the socio-political and cultural subjects relevant to be displayed in contemporary art exhibitions as well as other public and private spaces. He has been invited to the International Festival in Switzerland called Fumetto Comic Art Festival in 2019. He has been part of major contemporary art shows with other prominent artists of India in various galleries and museums. He was awarded the 'Young Artist Scholarship' by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, New Delhi. His works are in the collection of various organisations, museums, other public and private collections.
Avinash is currently running his studio called 'Avinash Karn Studio of Art (AKSA)' creating paintings with other in-house artists working with him. The collaborative works have been branded as ARTBOLE (meaning, art which speaks) by the studio AKSA.
Along with the studio projects, he has been engaged in various workshops and community-building initiatives across the country.
We create Madhubani Paintings as well as produces crafts related to this art form. We explore the design possibilities within Madhubani/ Mithila art in the production of textile works, crafts related
