I’m Rucharani, an entrepreneur and designer working at the intersection of space, objects, and culture. My work begins with observation how people move, sit, gather, pause. I’m drawn to materials with memory, forms shaped by function, and design that carries emotional weight without being loud about it. My practice is informed by travel, local craft traditions, architecture, and everyday rituals. Whether I’m designing a piece of furniture or shaping a spatial experience, the focus stays the same: thoughtful design that lasts, ages well, and feels deeply personal. About Sutary : Sutary is a design-led furniture and home objects studio rooted in Indian contexts and global sensibilities. We create pieces that are functional first, quietly expressive, and made to live with you over time. Our work sits between craft and contemporary design. We collaborate closely with makers, experiment with material honesty, and design objects that don’t chase trends but build presence. Every piece is meant to belong in real homes, real offices, real lives while still carrying a strong point of view. Sutary is not about excess. It’s about intention, restraint, and meaning built into form.
