Since the artisans were comfortable and skilled in geometric patterns and motifs; themes related to geometry and grids were explored, for eg. Bauhaus, Op Art, Cubism, etc. A contemporary impression was taken for this collection by researching on the upcoming trends and colour forecast in the home interior industry.
While researching on the current trends in interiors, it was noted that colour blocking, geometry, and grids were few of the upcoming trends in the future. It is about approaching design with an open mind and radical imagination and focusing on the inventiveness and fun. One of the characteristics of Bauhaus is that Geometry is king; it emphasized on functionalism through simplified, geometric forms that allowed new designs to be reproduced with ease. It was characterized by lean geometric patterns, a theory of colour and a respect for materials.
